1. About Reporting Pro

Reporting Pro is a research management and reporting service that helps researchers organize manuscripts, projects, reports, deadlines, publication activity and related research workflows.

This Privacy Policy explains how Reporting Pro collects, uses, stores and protects information when you use the Reporting Pro mobile application, website and related services.

2. Information we process

Account information may include your name, email address, username, account role, authentication information and workspace membership.

Research information may include manuscript titles and metadata, journal information, submission status, deadlines, projects, reports, publication records, review information, notes and files that you choose to provide.

If you voluntarily enable email synchronization, Reporting Pro may process your connected email address, provider identifiers, authorization credentials and relevant email message data or metadata needed to identify research-submission and editorial status information. Email synchronization is optional.

Technical and security information may include device or browser information, notification identifiers, IP address, timestamps, authentication events, diagnostic information and security logs processed by Reporting Pro or its infrastructure providers.

If you contact support, we process the information contained in your support request and related correspondence.

3. How information is used

Information is used to create and authenticate accounts, provide research-management functionality, synchronize information that you choose to connect, deliver notifications, maintain workspace permissions, provide customer support, protect the service from abuse and security threats, diagnose technical problems and comply with applicable legal obligations.

Reporting Pro does not sell personal information and does not use personal information for third-party behavioral advertising.

4. Service providers

Reporting Pro relies on service providers to operate the service. These may include Supabase for authentication, database and backend services; Cloudflare for website hosting, networking and security; and Resend for transactional email.

When you choose to connect supported third-party accounts, such as Google or Microsoft email services, information may also be exchanged with those providers as necessary to complete the connection and provide the requested synchronization functionality.

Service providers receive information only as necessary to provide their respective services or where otherwise permitted or required by law.

5. Data security

Reporting Pro uses technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect account and research information, including encrypted network connections, authentication, access controls and database-level authorization rules.

No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

6. Data retention

Account and research information is generally retained while your Reporting Pro account remains active and for as long as necessary to provide the service.

When an account-deletion request is completed, personal data and research data associated solely with that account are deleted from active systems, subject to limited information that may need to be retained for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations or legitimate shared-workspace record requirements.

Deleted information may remain temporarily in protected backup systems until normal backup rotation is completed.

7. Account and data deletion

You may request deletion of your Reporting Pro account and associated data from the account settings available in the application or by using the public deletion page.

8. Your choices

You may choose not to connect optional email services, may disconnect supported integrations, may update certain account information and may request account deletion.

9. International processing

Reporting Pro uses cloud service providers that may process information in countries or regions different from your place of residence. Appropriate technical and contractual safeguards are used where applicable.

10. Children

Reporting Pro is intended for researchers, research teams and professional users and is not directed to children under 13.

11. Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when Reporting Pro features, service providers or legal requirements change. The effective date shown at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are published.
